Led PMO to Execute Cross-Functional Strategic Initiative

A Fortune 100 CPG Company made the strategic decision to split into two separate autonomous entities to increase flexibility, responsiveness, and competitive positioning.

Situation: The separation plan involved having one of the two companies inherit the legacy corporate functions and systems while the other company would set up new corporate functions and systems to begin operations as a completely new company.  BIE worked with the new company to identify, set up, and stand up corporate functions and processes so that the new company would operate effectively from Day 1 of the split.

Approach: BIE led a PMO composed of a cross-functional team of senior leadership at the new company tasked with executing the split.  We worked directly with the team to identify, prioritize, develop processes, procedures, and mitigation plans that would support a successful company split.

Result: The split and subsequent operations of our client was successful.  The company was able to operate as an independent company on Day 1 without disruption.
